What's the difference between "Normal Reload", "Hard Reload", and "Empty Cache and Hard Reload" in chrome? -

i discovered new feature in chrome :

i can figure out difference between alternative 1 , alternative 3, , alternative 2 in between, can't find more precise info anywhere.

anybody know precise behavior of each of 3 options ?

normal reload

the same thing pressing f5. utilize cache revalidate during page load, looking "304 not modified" responses. if browser can avoid re-downloading cached javascript files, images, text files, etc. will.

hard reload

don't utilize in cache when making request. forcefulness browser re-download every javascript file, image, text file, etc.

empty cache , hard reload

obviously if cache empty have hard reload. 1 time again forcefulness browser re-download everything. however, if page makes after-the-fact downloads via javascript weren't part of page load, these might still utilize cache, emptying cache helps because makes sure these won't utilize cached files.
