i need works videojs supports native html5 when possible, , falls flash on browsers don't back upwards h264 natively. have videojs working, because need back upwards mp3 files (not supported videojs), thought seek out mediaelementjs.

reading mediaelementjs web site, looks should work, it's not clear me whether flash player play h264 or not. seems may need include different codecs, don't want do. want encode h264, , utilize player play them flash if browser doesn't back upwards codec, , utilize html5 if browser does.

any advice?

i've used mediaelementjs several times , imho, think it's best way offer cross-browser back upwards videos.

a single mp4 file can used either play in native video element or played via swf.
