i developing android application college. there no more 10000 users in total, , can assume no more 500 concurrent users there @ given time.

they posting status, photos, making comments (except video sharing). using mysql database (without memcache or other technology) , php web service.

i want ask, shared server serve purpose? because free app , cost of dedicated server high.
