c# - Are LINQ-to-SQL Stored Procedures cached? -

c# - Are LINQ-to-SQL Stored Procedures cached? -

i wrote couple stored procedures on database using reporting. used linq-to-sql pull stored procedures dbml file , create actual c# functions. info extract served via wcf service.

the dilemma having if run stored procedure function, upload new game stats, run stored procedure 1 time again (disposing datacontext inbetween uses) getting results set if new game stats hadn't been uploaded. however, if go run stored procedure straight against database right results set.

to me indicates few possibilities i'm not sure how handle:

the service somehow caching stored procedures results seems odd give disposing datacontext somehow stored procedure ignoring state of rest of datacontext something else entirely

i'm thinking datacontext.refresh() solve problem if can avoid performance nail i'd to, help appreciated.

c# linq-to-sql stored-procedures datacontext
