internet explorer 8 - Latest Nivo Slider 3.2 transitions not working in ie7 and ie8 -

i've downloaded latest nivo slider 3.2 need on responsive site , out of box no modifications transitions in ie7 , ie8 don't work.

they flick between images - no slicedown or fade rotate.

i've used in past no problems - i've view 2.6 in ie7 , ie8 , it's fine.

does know can done prepare it?

i've checked out demo http://nivo.dev7studios.com/responsive-demo/ , same issue happening there.

just sharing worked on site -- using default demo code, pretty much unedited download. beautiful , responsive (which wanted) in of browsers tested, except version of i.e.. if i.e., rotation, no effects.

however, when designated size dimension wrapper div and image divs, transitions worked in i.e. also. (height: 350px;) can specify dimension in css/stylesheet or inline -- if that's takes.

on site, needed specify height dimension; site, might need both height , width, or width. little experimentation took.

but, height dimension specified, threw off display in other browsers, dimension needs specified in terms of "hack" net explorer: either separate stylesheet net explorer users or using whatever favorite net explorer hacking method is: underscore, or \9, , on. here's list of useful net explorer workarounds, reference: internet explorer hacks

i know hate recommend hacking, :). love find out why 1 worked me, maybe there's improve way without hack.
