java - Locate laptop using geolocation -
hey im looking advice, im working on project create website able track , locate users laptop based on geolocation, in basic thought 'prey' does. far, i've got site when accessed shows on google map am, problem code used location runs within html code of site, means can show machine runs code , not laptop is, isnt useful. need have code run persons laptop updates location onto website intermittingly, in event of laptop beingness stolen user needs log website , can see there machine is. im looking advice or guidance on cant seem find whole lot out on net thanks
unfortunately won't possible unless user has background process running on laptop. similar way find iphone works, device running programme in background.
