xcode - interface builder: What is font size unit? -
is in pixel? also, have one-one relationship font in popular image editor's font size? (such photoshop).
font sizes nominally specified in points, 1 point = 1/72" inch. true not in ib , xcode, pretty much across board. whenever specify font size in macos (x or classic) application, including photoshop, units points. i'd imagine that's true on windows well.
bear in mind type using same font , size may rendered differently on different displays, depending on display resolution, "1 point" may not correspond 1/72" on screen. macs had displays close 72dpi, wysiwyg.
