i trying set custom 404 page on github gh-pages.

i have created page here: http://garemoko.github.com/tincancouk/404.html works when visited directly.

however, if go http://garemoko.github.com/tincancouk/foo.html default github 404 page.

any ideas? have 404.html in both master , gh-pages directories.

background: particularly of import site moving mediawiki site uses : in urls can't replicate i'm having alter urls.
