vb6 - Crystal reports 5.2 client? -

i have received source code of old vb6.0 app uses crystal reports.

the original project file shows: object={00025600-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}#5.2#0; crystl32.ocx

in old visual basic 6.0 instalation cds have crystal reports version 4.6.

when seek open 1 of rpt files source code using crystal study pro (version 4.6) raises cannot open rpt error. suspect rpt saved using "crystal study pro version 5.2" or similar.

do know if version (5.2) exists? , how can working re-create of version of crystal reports pro editing rpts?

upgrade newer crystal version alternative long works in visual basic 6.0 same way, ie crystl32.ocx, same apis, etc...

i had project had take old 4.6 reports , regenerate them version 8. able utilize it, recall (it's been 10 years) had regenerate rpt files before work. had open them , resave them new file. little googling suggests cr supports forwards migration of older reports (can't save in old format), lastly paragraph not going happen.
