i'am building application, need record it's settings trough database, logged in name: "mobstaa", needs fill username textbox next time start application. there few other little settings that, needs stored in database.

now i'am wondering if smart utilize sql compact edition, read few disadventages of compact edition, don't want users run application need install big sql file little application, know wether smart me utilize sql compact edition, or has alternative problem?

if want store settings , want utilize database, suggest utilize sqlite. db much more lightweight ms-sql compact edition , it's in-memory database, can ship db within product , don't have install seperate database on computer.
