Is low OSC/Midi (no audio) latency possible on Android? -
i want concept real-time interface sound interaction, real low latency essential. have read lot topic in lastly week, it's impossible real overview in such short time. before dig deep need evaluate feasibility project.
i've read lot problems android , low latency sound applications , know ios way superior in field, prefer android when it's possible. (i don't have mac essential developing ios, , more 'open' andoid more )
so question are:
is bad low latency behaviour related actual sound buffer/processing, or impact midi or osc applications too? me interface of import part - means it's ok me midi/osc commands processed in separate pc.
i need low overall latency (from finger touch event command output). problem android compared ios?

tl;dr version: galaxy nexus capable of 12ms sound buffer latency of jelly bean. have read elsewhere nexus 10 , nexus 4 can same, nexus 7 lags behind.
