visual studio 2010 - Find in Files Finding Files not in Solution -

i have encountered weird behaviour in vs2010. when perform find in files text, , select entire solution in in field, file not part of solution in results window. have checked see if these files have been accidentally added solution , cannot see them in solution explorer, can tell me why happening, , how can prevent these files showing in search, accidentally come in 1 create changes without realising wrong solution.

performed clean solution , seems have stopped files appearing. love know how happened though.
