sql - how change the format of a column to allow for excel functions in reporting services -

i have created study in reporting services.when download study in excel format i'm unable to perform sum function on columns.i first need manually convert columns number.is there way me on reporting services when download study sum values without changing column format.

i have far tried next :

. click on cell, open property window , update format property #,##0.00
