installshield - Add exception to Windows Defender at install time -

when running on windows 8, our application exceptionally slow unless add together process exception in windows defender. (it logging operations onto disk)

is there way add together exception programmatically during our installshield installation? calling custom action in c# or vbscript fine.

if easy add together exception windows defender using vb script, windows defender no protection computer because malware add together exception itself.

there registry keys define if windows defender's real time protection enabled or not. can read these values know if active , alert user slowness caused windows defender. cannot modify these keys, not running in service scheme user. these registry keys protected windows forbid tampering.

note since windows 10 alternative add together exceptions windows defender not exist anymore.

the way turn on or off windows defender:

manually via windows defender configuration panel (msascui.exe) install antivirus software disables windows defender automatically.
