wordpress internationalization solution -
i have request client enable multiple language selection on wordpress site. have tried http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/ , problem theme strings not translated. , plugin not have alternative translating theme. options having www.mydomain.com/en www.mydomain.com/de www.mydomain.com/fr...? need install multiple instances of wordpress have that? or there plugin can translate theme strings in same way qtranslate text entries? best practices please?

no, not want have multiple instances of wordpress handle that. check wpml , cmswithtms. former advanced , commonly used multilingual publishing plugin wordpress while latter more suitable if client looking more finish workflow solution uses professional translation management system.
