osx - Adb devices can't find Android device on OS X 10.8.2 -

i'm struggling here debug app on phone.

i'm new mac world, , used develop on windows no problems, guess it's not problem of phone...

to create clear, issue right now

* daemon not running. starting on port 5037 * * daemon started * list of devices attached (empty)

i have tried following:

enable usb debugging on phone modify adb_usb.ini file include vendor id set connection mode "usb massive storage" adb kill-server / adb start-server / adb devices ... reboot computer reboot phone yell @ computer

nothing seems work... else, haven't installed easytether or that, shouldn't interfere. phone zte skate, mention because not famous, said before, work on windows...

as curious fact, when plugging phone on windows, notification bar showed "debugging unit connected", doesn't appear when connect mac. , of course, in both cases have "usb debugging" alternative activated.

any ideas?

wow, think found workaround. looks awkward solution, long works... tried utilize wifi adb applications, such https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ttxapps.wifiadb&feature=search_result#?t=w251bgwsmswxldesimnvbs50dhhhchbzlndpzmlhzgiixq.. alternative. problem is, these apps require rooted device. anyway, sole app start (without turning on feature) made device aware of beingness debugging unit. then, connected usb cable , worked usual. hope helps someone! of course, if finds cleaner solution, post it!
