i'm interested know conceptually how reset tabs based on actions in "main tab" app writing app in 1 can work on multiple projects @ time.

the first tab show table view showing projects available, when 1 selects project, other tabs "reset" home screen (some have navigation can drill down)

from controller table (in "main tab"), can access of tab bar controller's view controllers self.tabbarcontroller.viewcontrollers. loop through array, , check if object navigation controller -- if is, phone call poptorootviewcontrolleranimated: go initial content controller.
