php - How do i test for 404 errors in PHPUnit using Selenium Server -

i'm trying write tests php unit using selenieum server, 1 test got create checking 404 error pages images , hyperlinks

the hard part tests magento setup have custom 404 error page cms page selected in backend appear when 404 error, also, local server environment when view image 404 shows white page, in same browser on different server environment owned team mate, have text showing "bad request", both urls same , entered page in exact same way

when seek using $this->open('kjdasfhkfajdhkfjhafds') goes 404 error page doesn't seem throw exception, check elements on page see if match expected 404 page have said above, viewing image gives different page , page different between servers

i'm in same situation , i'm experimenting find solution. far 1 seems work check.

$this->check($url);

seems atleast homecoming error on 404 going @ moment. if has improve suggestions sense free share them :-)
