php - language string conversion -
i'm having problem when passing form values print pdf file (using class fpdf) " ' " apostrophe, " " " double quotes , à è ì ò ù. managed right characters using: mb_convert_encoding($var,"html-entities","utf-8") , getting: & agrave ; etc. can't right characters back. i've tried many ways, included setlocale(lc_all, 'it_it') around problem didn't work , have inquire help.
