c# - Sql Server Compact with big dataset -

i new .net , desktop applications, have app big dataset 600, 000 running sql server express, problem users might not have sql server installed started looking alternatives came across sql server compact not sure if sql compact can handle 600, 000 records

any advise or help appreciated

sql ce can handle these many records. in 1 of projects, had 1 table more 2 1000000 records.
