i have big form, have maximum ~1000 elements. has many embedded forms has embedded forms, collapsed default.

my form has entry points user can start, of controls not required, form splitted parts. each subform can folded summary box.

i think workflow type of form ok. user can open , in 1 page can create many types of changes in info , in cases actions aren't connected each other.

are there design references, researches such big 1 page forms design? maybe standards designing ui input controls pattern?

you need provide workflow. form big on single page confuse people , lead people not bothering fill in.

break smaller forms, , provide wizard-style navigation process move 1 page next user fills in parts of form.

even then, 1000 info points lot single form, , lot inquire people fill in during single session. advised allow people leave form partially filled in, , homecoming finish later, without having re-do they've entered. sort of session save facility required.
