android - Cannot Target Physical Devices -

i cannot select either of devices adt device manager. (nearly) fresh install of adt direct google. year ago using android plugin eclipse, since didn't work either installed adt.

i have installed , updated under tools, android 4.2, , extras in android sdk manager. haven't installed else.

i have both nexus 7 (4.2.2) , samsung fascinate (2.3.5) trying send app to. i'm using usb cable shipped nexus 7 connect devices computer. both have usb debugging checked.

i have not changed within test project, clicking next through project builder.

i using default launch configuration, settings default except project. here total console log loading adt after attempting run on device:

the 6th log entry occurs after adt gives me dialog says "no compatible targets found. wish add together new android virtual device?," press no. android device chooser appears, , there no devices me pick from.

i have googled 5th log, turned nil worked. suggested alter minimum , target versions, or utilize virtual device. i'd utilize physical devices if possible. help.
