i work company have many customers hosted on 1 database , 1 schema. customers need able see own data, im using permissions , views joined forcefulness them own info based on info hierarchy.

this makes reporting queries pretty exhaustive database.

i starting hear olap cubes , data-mart useful solve problem.

each customers info points company table

what best way offload info somewhere client access info semi real time while still keeping workload off of database server?

what search olap , data-mart solve problem? have guides show me step 1-10.

you can setup olap server (e.g., iccube). might need setup separate db server not required iccube in-memory olap server; 1 time cubes have been created there no more access underlying db.
