Working without Hadoop Eclipse Plugin -
i have little doubt. working hadoop , map cut down . , used yahoo-vm machine making map-reduce application comes eclipse plugin. when myself tried install hadoop separately on computer couldn't found link between eclipse , hdfs after lot of tries. want know eclipse necessary building these applications? found useful in submitting inputs , receiving output hdfs. , can automate fs api of map redcue.
mapreduce programs other java programs, can developed in notepad, vi or of favorite editor. ides netbeans , eclipse create development of java programs easier.
here blog entry on developing/debugging hadoop mapreduce programs in eclipse without using hadoop plugin. 1 time programme has been developed/debugged in eclipse, jar file has created , submitted hadoop cluster using hadoop jar ..... command.
