Can I run Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student on 64 bit Windows XP? -

i have 64 bit version of windows xp, , wondering if can install microsoft office home , pupil 2010 on it. of friends telling me can't install version of office on 64 bit windows xp machine.

i checked files on disc, , has 32 bit , 64 bit option. can install 32 bit version on 64 bit windows xp machine?
