i need to put back/ (change) WordPress Address (URL) - should be simple -

i made error , changed settings / wordpress address (url) in wordpress , cant back-end anymore.

the problem that, have site on "dev" folder address "mysite.com/dev", , wordpress was(is). mistakenly removed "dev" , normal "mysite.com".

i need set since removed "/dev", wordpress redirects me main site , dont have access end anymore.

how can restore can access wordpress dev site on dev folder?

the simplest way (especially if aren't comfortable in phpmyadmin) ftp in , edit wp-config.php file in base of operations wp directory (e.g. mysite.com/dev) , add together these lines:

define('wp_home','http://mysite.com/dev'); define('wp_siteurl','http://mysite.com/dev');

next time visit site automatically alter settings. note cause associated fields in admin panel grayed out, when want alter url in future need either update or delete these lines wp-config file.
