hi every one,

i've renewed ssl certificate i've purchased godady year ago using same .csr used purchase certificate year ago, need update existing ssl certificate utilize elb, don't have private key

i checked godady website, there alternative re-keying i.e. private key generated certificate, unfortunately step requires .csr file don't have too

any ideas how regarding issue

if don't have private key, can safely re-key certificate. should work create new csr , utilize generating new certificate. also, should create sure private key not password protected. if need remove password protection private key, can utilize link: http://www.sslshopper.com/article-most-common-openssl-commands.html.

the godaddy tutorial on re-keying certificate available @ link. explicitly mention loss of private keys reason next process, , can generate new csr in order start process. http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/4976/rekeying-an-ssl-certificate
