Is it possible to return value with javascript:window.print()? -

i'm trying save value 1 if succeed (return true) , 0 it failed (return false) in database.

no, window.print() void, doesn't homecoming value , can't determine if dialog opened or indeed whether or not document printed.

related - there onafterprint event not cross-browser.

from mdn:

some browsers (including firefox 6 , later , net explorer) send beforeprint , afterprint events allow content determine when printing may have occurred. can utilize adjust user interface presented during printing (such displaying or hiding user interface elements during print process).

javascript
