i've inherited project i'd test in jboss - problem cant start within eclipse. works outside of eclipse have maven build, deploy war files jboss , restart jboss each time create alter nightmare.

in eclipse have added jboss 6 server, started appears fine (i.e. no errors in console), seek run 2 applications (one server 1 client) - nil gets printed console log - no error or anything. says started pretty much straight away. 404 error when going localhost:8080/name address.

i understand may hard assist me here there no error message if has suggestions or advice much appreciated. have thought should simple dont know im doing wrong...

eclipse may running jboss server listens different port. either or 8080 port bound eclipse can't open it.

try configuring jboss project in eclipse listens @ different port.
