growl - growlnotify not showing when shellscript run from launchd -

i have bash script launch when particular volume connected. used lingon create job runs script when volume mounted. have added:

growlnotify -a terminal -t "backup done" -m "backup done"

to script , works if run script manually terminal growlnotify fails register if script launched via daemon. can help problem?
