am right pic 18f26k20 cannot driven external 20mhz oscillator , pll enabled? have tried - worked. reliable? not sure understood datasheet.

of course of study isn't reliable! max cpu speed depend of outside temperature , powerfulness supply voltage. if powerfulness supply voltage 3.6v , temperature below 50°c propably can work.
