i have installed eclipse color theme 0.12.0. noticed when double click variable , click off had grayness highlight left behind. cant seen find setting prepare this.

running on fedora linux (15) no sudo rights.

is there setting this?

check window -> preferences -> editors -> text editors -> annotations -> occurrences.

that allow alter whether or not other occurrences of variable/etc. highlighted.

also, place

window -> preferences -> c/c++ -> editor -> mark occurrences (this has link above place).

unchecking selection should work.
