i'm writing script i'm going utilize quite often, datasets of different sizes, , have comparisons can't straight in python.

there multiple lists (around 20 or more, i've reduced them 3 illustration , testing purposes), same number of integer items in order. want compare items on same position in every list find differences. defined number of lists, easy:

i've tried wrapping loop in function, number of arguments can vary, there got stuck.

def compare(*args): x in zip(args): ???

in final script have not multiple single lists, in 1 list of list. help? if loop through list of lists, won't every list @ once...

forget function, it's not useful anyway part of bigger script , it's hard defining different arguments. i'm comparing 2 lists @ time, saving identical. way, can later remove whole list , maintain unique ones.

where key_list contains, dictionary, identifiers lists.
