c# - Tool to find copy/pasted code? -
today found tons of copy/paste code within of if statements 1 or 2 words changed. changed 35line beast 5 line easy understand code.
i'm sure i'll find more of in codebase. there tool can utilize find them? in .net written in c#
i have run same issues , utilize visual studio 2012's "analyze solution code clones" in "analyze" menu. times it's not "cut , paste" job, people adding own methods code base of operations without first checking see if code written. it's bunch of boilerplate code abstracted generic or functional approach, too. (so, have sympathy!) click here more info on msdn.
