Get Android audio stream -
i want create android application, record sound device speakers. illustration watching youtube video on phone , able save sound it, using application.
is possible without framework modification ?
there's visualizer class let's grab low-quality version of playing audio. wouldn't plenty use-case describe though.
other there's no officially supported way of recording sound output in android. of course of study turn speaker volume , seek record speaker output phone's microphone, sound bad or worse sound can through visualizer.
there platforms provide back upwards @ hardware , driver level accessing sound output (after mixing , volume/effect application) recording device looping sound alsa pcm capture device. i'm not aware of android phones implement in way can used app developers.
