Tomcat vs Glassfish, is jpa with both possible? -

"tomcat servlet container only, means not provide back upwards java ee features." jpa illustration java ee feature. means supported of glassfish. can utilize jpa on tomcat!
so why can that? thought can stick servlet/jsp tomcat.
jpa is part of java ee, means every java ee container should back upwards it. tomcat not back upwards jpa out-of-the-box. can utilize jpa in applications deployed on tomcat if these applications embed jpa implementation.
typically you'll find spring applications hibernate or eclipselink embedded, both providing jpa api. tomcat unaware of that, it's user code far he's concerned.
