yaml - Ruby organization with multiple source files -

i trying figure out best way organize bunch of ruby scripts create easier on next person. 1 key thing there multiple constant variables need used across scripts. should these stored? maintain separate file these constants? should utilize yaml? i've never had create project multiple ruby source files interacting each other, i'm not sure best method of approach here.

i utilize config.yaml file constants. makes easy set , alter variables going used across different files. need read in file , set variables. can maintain file anywhere really, long using file has read permissions. have set file path.
